Lesson Video

An app for ChatGPT

Turn a chat into a narrated lesson.

Ask ChatGPT to teach you what you've been talking about. It writes a few short scenes and a script, and the lesson plays right in the chat, with a voice, captions and a question at the end.

How it works

You ask for a lesson. ChatGPT writes it. It plays in the chat.

  1. Talk something through in ChatGPT

A physics idea, a function you don't get yet, the plan for a project. Any conversation works.

  2. Ask for a lesson

Make this a short lesson I can watch.

ChatGPT picks what to teach, writes the scenes and the narration, and adds a question to check you followed. Lesson Video checks every scene before it plays.

  3. Watch it without leaving the chat

Captions start at once and the voice follows. Your answer to the question goes back to ChatGPT, so it can pick up where you got stuck.

  4. Ask for changes

Use a 50 cm³ cube in the example instead.

ChatGPT edits only the scenes that change. Every lesson stays in your account.

Set up

Add it to ChatGPT

Lesson Video is not in ChatGPT's app directory yet, so for now you add it by its address.

  1. Open Settings → Apps in ChatGPT

  2. Turn on developer mode

You'll find it under the advanced settings for apps.

  3. Add a new app with this URL

    https://lessons.onmax.me/mcp
  4. Sign in when ChatGPT asks

ChatGPT opens a Lesson Video page. Sign in or create a free account, then allow access.

Once Lesson Video is listed in the ChatGPT app directory, you'll find it there by name and can skip the URL.
